Ethiopia has officially launched the construction of its highly anticipated Bishoftu Airport, a transformative infrastructure project poised to become the centerpiece of African air travel. The new airport is a direct response to the phenomenal growth of Ethiopian Airlines and the increasing capacity constraints at the current hub, Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa.
